We are looking for a good Christmas gift for oujr 85 year old grandmother that has everything. She lives alone and is still very active for her age. She is involved in her community, church, and has several friends. She is not into electronics or technology. It seems like every year we buy her either a throw, a sweater, candles or some piece of Waterford Crystal.This year I would like to get her something more special. Any ideas?

We want it to say something like May you always be each others’ compasses in life, but we need a clever (but short) way to say it. Any ideas on a good inscription? We are having my son Christened next month. His Godfather will be my brother (single, 30) and the Godmother is my husband’s sister (married, 27). What are some cute / different ideas for a gift for each of them as a thank you. I was hoping to try to do something different than the standard picture frame, etc. I believe I was given a watch when I was involved in the ceremony for my Goddaughter 7 years ago. She gave us a wii for our wedding. She brought her entire family and oldest daughters bf. we also paid for two nights of there hotel stay and bridal party attire roughly 500 bucks. I know we had money when we got married but now im out of work about a 30% income loss for my husband and I. What would be an appropriate gift. it would just be my husband and I.
