How about some children’s plastic bath toys as a fun gift? They are cheap, and your parents will get the joke. For something serious, get them one or two of those mattresses that you blow up and then float on when you’re in the pool. They even come with drink holders.

never put a spa/whirlpool in ground. they are too cheap to maintain,and if something goes wrong you are looking at the cost,PLUS ,paying some dumb *** to tell you that you shouldn’t have done it ti begin with

get them a pool service gift certificite and that way they will get some help with the first year of learning the ropes…or a pool cleaner…..the best gift would be for you to come over and go swimming with them!
I think you should get them what they need most, a poolboy. There is no body who is going to be keeping it clean unless you get them one! It’s definitely a gift worth considering, along with the ones suggested by previous commenters.
