You can give him something educational like a game board. Those games are not sect or religion sensitive. Or something he need like clothes or footwear since it is a charity drive.
Don’t be a cheapskate. Buy that kid a Wii. We may pray through Jesus or Muhammad, but Mario saves all comers. And princesses to boot.
I think you should get him a Set of Dog-tags with his name on there not offensive or simple but it is something you can do without hurting his feelings it is just a suggestion so i hope it helps and you a kind person unlike some people i know good one for doing your best
