They are for your host or hostess to make themselves; they supply the eggs and butter, say, and you the sugar, cinnamon, and flour, and nuts, etc.
I think they are fun. Do you?
Thank you

Russian Tea
(always good when it gets nippy outside)
1 lb. (1 jar) Tang
1/2 cup instant tea
1 pkg. dry lemonade
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
Mix together well.
Put in a jar and attach a spoon on the outside with ribbon, with the recipe for when they run out. Because once you taste it it is forever a favorite!
There is a thing out now where it is a cake in a cup. It comes with the mix to make a single serving cake in a very large coffee mug. The one I saw was a coffee cake. It looks really cool.
I would prefer a jar of Peaches or Apricots in Brandy which they sell in most garden centres this time of year.
That sounds a lovely idea. How about muesli, hot chocolate swirls and marshmallows, a salad dressing and marinade for meet/fish? I think I might give it a go, it’s more exciting than the usual bottle of wine.
I think they are fun. Last year my sister gave me Cappuchino in a jar. All I had to do was add a couple scoops to hot water.
There are tons of great ideas out there such as brownies and soups. Try the basic websites such as all recipes.com

YES I DO.
YOU KNOW WHATS REALLY FUN?
A JAR OF HOT COCOA AND MARSHMELLOWSSS.
YUMMEH!
Fruit preserved in alcohol usually goes down well. Try, cherries in Kirsch, mandarins in Cointreau, lemons in Vodka-the juice is good for drinking and the fruit is gorgeous with meringues and cream or ice cream for pudding-putting a few spices in can be fun too. Also good in the run up to Christmas is if you put sloe berries, sugar and gin together in equal measure and leave till Christmas and it makes a beautiful sloe gin! (I do this in a bucket and then bottle the sloe gin usually but it would make an unusual gift!)
I love giving these too. I think everyone likes receiving gifts in a jar!

(now I’m in a Christmas mood…..lol )
my favourite gift in a jar was some homemade chutney.
try baking a pound cake in a mason jar.The best pound cake you’ll ever eat. You can find the instructions on the internet. Cover top of jar with nice pc. of frabic and ribbon and small card attached to ribbon.
For a good holiday gift. Put some hot chocolate mix in a jar, add a some of cinnamon, then nutmeg. Shake it all up and top it off with those tiny marshmellows for some yummy nutty hot coco! Plus it looks really cute in the jars and it is super easy.
There are two favorites- make perfect stocking stuffers!
