I think around $20 – $25 would be reasonable. I think a nice gift card would be appreciated. Just make sure its something general that they would actually use. A gift card to Starbuck’s for a person who hates coffee would be wasted, you know what I mean? Just give a Visa gift card. A nice bottle of wine and one or two wine glasses would be nice as well. Again though, only if they enjoy wine. It can get tricky.
Last year I bought these magnets: and put them in little stockings that I got at the dollar store with some candies for my group (all women also). They were a HUGE hit (most women like cute little christmas things). We have cubicales with metal shelves, and many of them put them up again this year. It didn’t cost much, wasn’t secular, and didn’t include scents (liek candles and lotions) that could irritate someone sensitive (I do have one person in my group that is VERY sent sensitive).
