Love, Peace, Harmony….XOXO asked:
I normally just wrap the presents in paper and miles of tape well not literally a mile of tape.
I have some curling ribbon in gold- http://www.thewrapshop.co.uk/curling-ribbon—10-m-111-p.asp
and some bows. Just what can I do with it all

make your own wrapping paper
put a photo of you as the card
use **** mags as wrapping paper.
google martha stewart present wrapping or something.
use old newspaper. It helps get rid of old papers and you don’t have to buy anything. Win win situation!!
ive done several creative things…my favorite is to trick people into thinking they got a bigger gift than the actually did!
one year i got my mom a necklace, wrapped the jewlry box. then i got a slightly bigger box, put the jewlry box in the bigger box…wrapped it…but that in a bigger box….i did that like 5 times and she loved it!
you could mix the warpping stuff like wrap a third of it in one then others in different wrapping papers =) merry christmas x
i was skint one year so decided to be creative and wrapped them in brown parcel paper and black bows and ribbon everybody said it looked very posh …….it cost 2.50for miles of paper a Job well done on a shoestring.
put them ( the ones that can fit) inside of a hot air balloon and let them float! or make your own paper out of newspaper and food coloring, put them all in one big box put draw numbers to retrieve gifts, have fun.give everyone directions so they can go on a christmas hunt for their gifts.merry christmas
you can wrap your present to look like a big piece of candy (tootsie roll).. usually works with clothes.. roll up into a tube shape.. place on top of wrapping paper or tissue paper.. roll the paper around the present – tape.. then pinch the ends and tie with ribbon.. leaving the excess to puff out..
not a great explanation but it will resemble a tootsie roll =) merry merry
here’s what we do in our family…
first i have found that its easier and a bit faster to use a glue stick rather than tape when wrapping gifts………….
use the sunday comics
i let my kiddos help wrap in construction paper then have them decorate it
my sister and i go to fast food places and get paper bags with their logo on it [cheesy i know but its neat if your giving to a teen or a friend]
if its like a small kitchen appliance the i’ll wrap it in a couple of hand towels ……
those are justa few things we do. hope it helped you out!
Well, it depends on what you have to wrap, but some ideas are:
– use old calendars or newspaper as wrapping paper
– tie on some kind of ornament topper thing (like maybe a tree ornament or old christmas light bulb)
– tie on the ribbon in a funky way (you could scrunch up the sides and tie like this:http://www.plumparty.com/partysupply/graphics/products/large/21436.jpg )
– use unique things to tie the present like skipping ropes or pony tails
I hope this answer helped you!
