What would be a good thank you/Christmas gift to give to my neighbor?

jandismommie asked:

I would like to get something small to give to my neighbor as a thank you/ Christmas gift because she let my kids and I stay with her when our heater broke. I always give her homemade chocolates but I would also like to get her something else. I only want to spend $10 on it because money is tight. What should I get her? Thank You.

You could try something else homemade like cup cakes, cookies, or get the kids to make something homemade like cards, paintings, or collages. People really appreciate home made gifts.

What about an angel ornament and putting a tag on it that says you’re our angel on earth? Should be able to get one at Walmart or Target for under $5 and I’m thinking she has a kind heart and would appreciate your thank you most of all, more so than something larger since I’m sure she knows money’s tight for you…
