Choosing an Xmas gift for a man, specially the ones who “have everything” they ever wanted or needed can be a daunting task for the wife, girlfriend and even the children.
How did this Xmas in place of Christmas get started anyway? Was it the people who have to search endlessly for some unusual Christmas gifts for Dad or a business gift for a boss? Maybe that is how the X got put in front of the most widely celebrated holiday on earth.
Say no more of that. There really are quite few unusual and unique gifts for Dad or the boss or whoever “he” is. You need to merely think outside of the box. The box being the perpetual giving of shirts, ties, socks and the like. Its likely he would rather choose his own than to have wear the Santa Claus socks you got him next time he sees you.
Naturally a good resource is the Internet. Just prior to writing this small silly article, I did a search on Google for “gifts for men” and got 34,100,000 pages. Now I’m sure some of those weren’t relevant but the first page had some really good ideas. But, before you will get acceptable dieas you will first have to sift through the porn and dating sites, however, there are a great number of good sites in this list.
An electronic devise is always an excellent choice for a Christmas gift for men. One that will make his life easier or more fun. He who has the most man toys wins. Or so they say anyhow.
Other interesting offers came from a site that had gifts for men over 50 and under 40 and gifts for boaters, golfers and sports team gear. Then there are office gifts, travel gifts, outdoor gifts and men’s accessories; oops here come the socks and ties again. I saw some for leather gifts for men but decided not to look at the images.
This is a good gift idea for nearly all men. Gifts for boaters! Regarless of whether or not a boater he probably has an attraction to the sea. Doesn’t everyone? There is an unlimited availability of nautical gifts for men. Howard Miller makes a nice desk clock or mantle clock. Or, a Howard Miller tide clock or borometer for the boater or sailor. By the way, Howard Miller is top of the line stuff!
Men always like binoculars. Waterproof ones are the best choice for boaters or sailors. Although more costly they hold up better in harsh conditions.
Then there are water proof cameras, handheld GPS’s or how about a Yachtsman sailing watch; how many guys have one of those?
One thing you don’t want to do without some professional help is to buy him a fish finder or GPS Plotter for the boat. These are quite expensive gifts and are very different for different types of boating, sailing and fishing. Best bet is to spoil the surprise and let him pick it out.
Merry Christmas and good luck with your search. If you want help choosing a gift, see my Authors Bio below. I will be happy to help you.
