How do i get mystery gift off a friend?

When you first start your game up, after the title scene where it says continue game instead of clicking that go down until you see mystery gift. Once your in there go to receive then get via friend. If you don’t have the mystery gift option you have to go to Jubilife City and talk to the guy in charge of the Poketech company. I’m a little unsure who you have to talk to or what you have to say but go to and they’ll definitely have the answer.
