what would be a good wedding present for a 58yo French woman in Paris?
jomama asked:
I am going to a wedding in Paris but I am not sure what to give as a present. The couple is in their late 50’s and they already have grown children. I do not want to spend too much, and cannot carry heavy luggage.

French women like scarves. Throw down some cash and buy a really nice one.

some nice french knickers, nothing too revealing or embarassing to the french lady (i.e. no g strings), just something like some lacy boy leg panties, or french style knickers.

Bring 2 champagne goblets with you from home, then buy a nice bottle of champagne when you get to Paris. Put them in a bag with either some strawberries, bread, appetizers, or whatever route you want to go. They can have a nice treat after the wedding. Or get the fixings for an Italian dinner and put them all in a nice bag with a bow.

Crochet them a nice throw or buy them one of those soft throws in a color you know they will like.If you don’t know ask them what their favorite colors are if you can get one of each.Or get them to match their furniture.
