Gifts for Godparents at a Christening / Baptism?

kds-nj asked:

We are having my son Christened next month. His Godfather will be my brother (single, 30) and the Godmother is my husband’s sister (married, 27). What are some cute / different ideas for a gift for each of them as a thank you. I was hoping to try to do something different than the standard picture frame, etc. I believe I was given a watch when I was involved in the ceremony for my Goddaughter 7 years ago. Thanks for any ideas you can provide.

I found some beautiful Waterford crystal cross Christmas ornaments that I bought for each of my son’s godfathers (and I kept one for us). I stumbled upon them at the Waterford outlet, and I got them for a great price!

Do some shopping around, and I am sure you will find something great.
