Hi.
When my husband was young he took guitar lessons.
Because of the cost he had to give them up.
Now, 30 years later, for his birthday I got a brochure from a local music store and in it, put money for lessons.
I wonder if there is something that your dad had fun doing as a young person that he lost or had to give up?
(The guitar practice is driving me crazy, but hubby is lovin’ it

Think of what his interests are. Usually a nice watch, or a Dockers outfit (dads love Dockers), or a pair of sneakers make them happy.

A day at the spa! (men love massages and facials-though some won’t admit to it)
Weekend getaway with the wife!
Sports Memorabilia! (autographed picture of his favorite sports player)

Perhaps something that relates to a hobby he has or to a hobby he would like to start…

Perhaps a beer brewing kit (if he like beer and doesn’t already do that).

Anything that relates to one of his leisure time activities is best.

Personally, I would like a sailboat, but that’s a bit extravagant.
