It depends what he likes. A gift certificate to a place he likes is nice, but a little impersonal. Hmm. Ask her what he likes. Then, you can combine a gift card, and try thinking of material items to go with it.
Football: Models certificate, Signed football
Cooking: William sonoma certificate, equipment
Art: Gallery tickets, Nice painting
Swimming: Models certificate or swim race tickets, signed photo or nice trunks.
These are just some nice ideas. Remember, us guys don’t need SUCH personal meaningful gifts. This allows flexibility.
