I havn’t got any money, but it’s a special occasion so I thought I could do them a painting.
Problem is they only have one photo of their wedding day and it’s tiny, so I’m a bit stuck as to what to do?

It’s their China Anniversary, why not paint a plate for them? Try and sketch it out and blow it up a little (the picture), and if you can find more pics of them, copy them and make a scrapbook for them with little paper hearts and stuff!
I assume you’re a painter so why not re-create that tiny wedding picture they have? Maybe you could paint them dancing in their wedding attire? That would be really fun and plus they’d have a different perspective on their day as would you.
Why not paint them a family portait to show them everything that they’ve accomplished in thier 20 years. Add things to the painting that have had great meaning to them throughout the years, like is there a favorite place they like to vacation a favorite resaurant etc. You could surround the family with all of these items and you could hide the number 20 throughout the painting as well, I’m sure it would be something that they would enjoy for years to come and it would be fun for them to try and spot the 20′s it would be a great reminder of their 20th anniversary.
