She is involved in her community, church, and has several friends. She is not into electronics or technology. It seems like every year we buy her either a throw, a sweater, candles or some piece of Waterford Crystal.This year I would like to get her something more special. Any ideas?

We are going to give my brother in law a compass as a wedding gift, and we will have te back inscribed to him and his wife. We want it to say something like May you always be each others’ compasses in life, but we need a clever (but short) way to say it. Any ideas on a good inscription? We are having my son Christened next month. His Godfather will be my brother (single, 30) and the Godmother is my husband’s sister (married, 27). What are some cute / different ideas for a gift for each of them as a thank you. I was hoping to try to do something different than the standard picture frame, etc. I believe I was given a watch when I was involved in the ceremony for my Goddaughter 7 years ago.
